How the original lookup worked
The locator asked for a city, a state chosen from a list, and a postal code, and the state list had to be used together with the postal code field. Its own search tips were:
- If you don't find a retailer in your area, broaden the search by using the state list alone.
- Using the first few digits of a postal code narrows the search to other cities near your location if there isn't a retailer in your own city.
