Finish warranty
The Commercial Alumide finish is warranted for a period of three years commercial and twenty-five years residential from date of purchase, providing proper installation, care and maintenance is provided as defined in the floor care guide and installation leaflet. The finish is warranted not to wear through from light commercial, heavy foot traffic. Gloss reduction is not considered wear through and is not covered.
Structural warranty
The structural warranty applies to engineered commercial products for 25 years from date of purchase, warranted not to separate due to internal glue bond failure. Manufacturing defects are improper milling, laminating, grading or assembling only.
Refinishing warranty
Prefinished commercial products can be sanded and refinished up to two times when performed correctly by a professional floor refinisher.
Regarding all warranty coverage
It is critical that all installations are done in compliance with the procedures outlined in the installation instructions. Failure to install in accordance with the instructions will void all warranties. Only professionally installed floors are eligible for labour cost reimbursement; a self-installed floor is covered for replacement materials only.
